At the request of the Independent Office of Audits and Investigations, the California Department of Finance, Office of Audits and Evaluations (Finance) completed an audit of the City of Riverside's (City) following Proposition 1 B funded projects. The complete audit report is attached.

Based on the audit, Finance determined that for project 080020364, the City claimed and was reimbursed ineligible construction and construction engineering expenditures totaling $145,215. In addition, the Final Delivery Report for project 0800000186 was not submitted to Caltrans within six months of the project becoming operable.
Please provide our office with a corrective action plan, including time lines, by August 23, 2019.
